Why Pastured

Why pastured meat?  The difference is huge.  An animal that is confined to a feed lot and fed grain is lower in vitamins and minerals and the fatty acid profile is flipped from heart healthy to heart damaging.  There are no legal requirements to use words like pastured, and free range.  Verify what you are being told and visit the farmer.
